El Faro Los Morrillos de Cabo Rojo – Puerto Rico//02.19.12

I love Puerto Rico’s west coast. Not only has breath taking sunsets but you will find beautiful beaches, great surfing and wonderful places to enjoy seafood.

This past weekend we took time off to spend it with our kids and decided to visit one El faro Los Morrillos de Cabo Rojo (Los Morrillos Lighthouse). It sits on the most south west tip of Puerto Rico on a 200 feet tall limestone cliffs with 360 degree view of the turquoise Caribbean waters. It has natural bridges, the most beautiful beach cove in Puerto Rico, green lush dry tropical flora, a wildlife refuge, salt flats and mountains. No other place in Puerto Rico offers such views with unsurpassed beauty. It was built in 1882 by the Spanish and since then it has safely guided ships through the Mona passage.

Here are some images from our trip.

Sunsets @ Piñones//04.03.11

Puerto Rico’s West Coast is well known for its incredible sunsets. If you have the opportunity while visiting our little island to go to Rincón, you should. You won’t regret it but be rewarded with a majestic display if God’s amazing handiwork.

But if you you can make it all the way there, I’ll have you know that you can still enjoy a beautiful sunset in the San Juan Metro area. This images were taken last friday in an area of Loiza called Piñones. Great food and some of the most beautiful beaches in the north.

Wedding of the Week: Sally & Brandon//02.09.11

Few weeks ago we had the privilege to capture and document Sally & Brandon wedding at Rincón Ocean Villa. This young couple met while working for the Obama’s Presidential Campaign and chose an incredible venue for the wedding.

Rincón Ocean Villa is a beautiful 14,000 square foot villa located in Puerto Rico west coast in the town of Rincón. This 3.5 acres of lush tropical and golden sand  beach is the perfect spot for a sunset wedding.

Moments to Remember: Father-Daugther Dance//10.14.10

One of the most emotive moments of a wedding reception is when the bride dances with her dad. It is a very powerful and sweet moment that symbolizes letting go and the beginning of a new life.

Few weeks ago we had the privilege to capture & document Christine & Hector’s wedding at Casa de España. As photographers we look for moments like this one. Here is one of my favorite shots of the day when Christine dances with her dad, tears streaming on her face as her new husband, Hector, look at the moment.
