Heather + Paul | Destination Wedding La Concha Resort, Puerto Rico//05.08.12

Just a few week ago I had the honor and pleasure of photographing Heather and Paul’s destination wedding in Puerto Rico. This wonderful couple gathered with friends and family to celebrate their wedding at a Condado chic hotel, la Concha, A Renaissance Resort.

Heather and Paul have a wonderful love story. The way they met reflect their adventurous nature and love for life. She is a surfer who is teaching him to surf while he is a snow boarder who is teaching her to snow board. Because their love for the ocean and adventure, we met at a local Puerto Rico’s surfing beach – “Aviones”- to do their Trash the Dress session. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day.

Brianna + Chris Trash the Dress Old San Juan//04.02.12

Brianna + Chris got married one year ago right here in Puerto Rico and decided to come back one year later to do a trash the dress. Their wedding was photographed by a good friend and excellent photographer José Aguiló, but because he was in Spain I had the opportunity to meet Brianna and CHris and do their trash the dress. We started at the San Cristobal Fortress at Old San Juan and later in the afternoon we moved to the beach to complete the trash the dress. Here some of my favorite  photos.

After a beautiful wedding at historical Hotel Guajataca, Quebradillas, Tanisha and Samuel met with me for a trash the Dress session at Old San Juan. Due to Tropical storm Emily we had to re-schedule the session, but luckily the rain stopped enough for us to catch some great images at La Fortaleza San Felipe del Morro. Here are some of my favorite.

Trash the Dress – Yma and Miguel//09.03.08

Yma and Miguel are moth architects who love haciendas. Since we met we always spoke about doing a trash the dress in an abandon hacienda. We did some research and found one at nearby Toa Baja. It is called Hacienda Santa Elena. It was the first house of the Fornalleda’s Fmily, owner of Plaza las Américas.

Originally it was a sugar plantation and later became a cattle ranch. Now in ruins, it can be a most romantic spot. There are many excellent shots but this are some of my favorites.
